For most students this is their first time painting with chalk on the ground. You'll be amazed at their talent.

The 2027 theme for student and professional artists is "IMAGINE TOMORROW"

Rules, Information, and Release
- Individual Registration Forms for each participating student must submitted online at ArtFestFortMyers.com/ChalkBlock.
- Confirmation of acceptance will be emailed by December 11th, 2026.
- Participating student artists will create a chalk street painting measuring 6’ by 6'. ArtFest Fort Myers will provide all necessary supplies.
- Sponsoring teacher must approve student’s street painting artwork, in conjunction with theme: Time to Shine.
- The Chalk Block Check-in begins promptly at 8:00 AM on Saturday, February 7st. ArtFest Fort Myers requires that an adult be present to chaperone the students during the competition.
I understand that this an outdoor, rain or shine, event. I release and forever discharge ArtFest Fort Myers, Inc., the volunteers, the City of Fort Myers, and other sponsoring organizations, any other duly appointed representatives and the employees, agents, officers of each from any responsibility, personal liability, loss or damages arising out of or in connection with Chalk Block and ArtFest Fort Myers.

I have read the Rules and Information and would like to sponsor a team in the ArtFest Fort Myers 2027 Chalk Block High School Chalk Art Experience. I further commit to approving my team’s artwork, in advance of the competition, as appropriate and not objectionable for public viewing and to enforcing the Chalk Block Rules.
