ArtFest Fort Myers is proud to support the STARS Complex by creating an after-school and summer Art Club for children to learn about and create art.
175 at-risk youth per year participate in the Art Clubs creating over 2,100 art projects. ArtFest Fort Myers provides all the art supplies and a twice-per-week professional artist to oversee and conduct the Art Club.

The Success Through Academic and Recreational Support (STARS) Program is to help the disadvantaged youth of the City of Fort Myers achieve alternatives to drugs, crime, illiteracy and poverty through activities such as sports, music, dance, arts and the academics. The STARS Complex is located in the Dunbar Community on Edison Ave.
