Festival Weekend Information for Volunteers
Before the festival weekend, please be sure to watch the training videos for your area.
We count on your presence and prompt arrival 20 minutes before your scheduled shift times.
Volunteer Headquarters is located at the "City Pier" building - that is the 2-story building at the riverside end of Hendry St. Look for the big red & yellow Welcome Flags.
Volunteer Priorities
FUN is why we volunteer! Smiling is contagious. Safety is always the first priority; this is why we ask that no alcoholic beverages be consumed while volunteering. Patience is always a must: We have 500 devoted volunteers and 95,000 attendees at ArtFest Fort Myers during our festival weekend.
What to Wear
Wear your FREE volunteer T-shirt -- provided to you at Check-In. Dress comfortably for outdoors and listen to the weather. Bring rain gear, if rain is predicted -- we still need you. Don't forget your sunscreen! Comfortable closed-toed shoes are a must, our festival site is one mile long and you will be on your feet.
Purses?
Think about leaving your purse at home. Wear a fanny pack or similar. We have no place to secure your valuables.
